I did a financial exercise with importing a small number and when export broker fees, freight and insurance, importers/distributors margin, retailers margin are all factored in, GST, Aust customs fees etc you can see how the difference in price all adds up.

Volume of course reduces the price per rifle by reducing the fixed fees per item.
