Could you expand on your comment that
"Merkels in 470 are too light."

I am not sure I agree depending on which angle you are coming from.

I know of quite a few "Lighter" English made Doubles in 470 Nitro.

If you are talking about Felt Recoil, mine is fine. I have shot alot worse
old English 470's.
