I recently purchased a Merkel 470 NE and have been very pleased with the gun. There is a picture of me with my 470 Merkel under the Double Rifle Forum with Hog I killed at the DRSS Hog Hunt this past weekend.

I purchased my rifle from a dealer in Nixa, MO, if I remember correctly Rimfire Specialities. Roger the owner worked for Westly Richards. Roger is very nice guy to work with.
