On a more ordinary note, I used JJ several years ago to repair the stock on a pre-war Mauser .22 (MS 420B) after it was broken in shipping. The repair is undetectable, at least by me. He also refinished the stock and freshened up the checkering on a Mauser MM 410B. Superb job and very sympathetic to the original prewar look. Very nice guy, to boot.
