It seems srange to have a LOP of 14.75" for Rifles and 16.25" for Shotguns.

That's 1.5" difference.

What would be my (guess) LOP of a double rifle?
LOP is only 1 factor in the gun fitting. Cast, Drop etc also affects the items.

Probably plenty ib 14 - 15" but when buying a Vintage double, may I suggest worry more
about the Metal work (ie Condition of barrels, action etc) than the wood as the wood can
be easily changed, th metal work can't.

Also, you can purchase stock comb raisers, stock extension kits made of Neoprene and Rubber
which have Multiple foam spacers of different sizes and they can be used to make any gun fit you.
I use them on 2 - 3 guns.
