I was working on some reduced loads for a 577/450 Martini Sporter rifle because shooting 500 gr. bullets with 75 grs. of RL15 at 2000 fps at an estimated 35,000 CUP in a 6 1/2 pound Martini felt neither fun nor safe.
The loads I was working with were in the 45 to 50 grs. 1500 fps range.
I also got the hang fire misfire problem with XMP 5744 until I used filler. The 5744 did not give me unburned clumps like the RL15 did.
