Some very nice doubles have been made on shotgun actions eg Cenury Arms, but no actual maker to my knowledge.

With the wealth of existing vintage doubles here mostly from India there probably wasn' a great need. Also most Aussie hunters traditionally have used smaller bores so the big bore double was only for safaris to Africa or Shikar in India. The British double trade served the Commonwealth of Australia quite well.
