It looks like the 450/400 3" gets about 2100fps with a 400gr bullet for muzzle engery of around 3950psi.

The 375 flanged with a 300gr bullet is more like 2500 fps for energy of around 4150psi.

The 375f is definatly a flatter shooting round with more energy, but the 400 has a heavier bullet. Wich is more effective on dangerous game? Wich is more accurate (all else being equal)?

I'm still trying to decide on a caliber for a searcy PH. I think it's down to these two.
