As a long-time Jeffery .400 owner I have no trouble concurring absolutely with that statement!
The example in my custody is an ejector, 10 pounds even, 24-inch chopper-lump tubes with 3rd bite, made by Charles Leonard in 1939 if I recall the completion date correctly.
I may one day own better rifles, but will go to my grave without owning a better hunting rifle!
