When did they come out with this? I can't find it on the Pedersoli web site..... " The Kodiak 450 Nitro Express uses an action with the sliding third bite"....interesting, wonder how (or if) they regulate?

I could be wrong but I am not aware of Pedersoli chambering this rifle for 450NE. These rifle were re-chambered to 450NE from 45-70 buy private owners quite a bit. I have the 143rd one off the line from Pedersoli. These rifles were commissioned by Trail Guns Armory of Texas and were only originally chambered for 45-70Gov, and are replicas of the 1878 Colt double rifle.

Mine was re-chambered for 458 RCBS, a wildcat invented by Huntington originator of RCBS.
These rifle were $900 originally but wnet up to about $3500 the last listing I saw. I don't think you will find this rifle listed chambered for 450NE from Pedersoli, but if you you do please let me know!
