Yes, maybe someday when I'm shooting it less, I'll have the forend redone to a semi-splinter shape. Although it was suggested by Aaron Little while he was building, I didn't want to delay its completion.

The stock itself is a perfect fit for me. It has just the right amount of drop to convert some of the heavy recoil into muzzle lift, without having it point at the moon at the end of the recoil cycle. Too little "lift" results in straight-back recoil which is much more felt into the shoulder.
