It is really shitty when that sort of thing happens. As a business operator you have to be 100% when it comes to warranty. Things can happen sometimes but it is your response and the way you handle a warranty claim that makes you into a good business or just another rip -off merchant who is all smiles and helpful until you have a problem where they don't want to know you.
