Gentleman

I looks like I'm about to own my first double rifle. I have won a bid on a 2003 model, Merkel 140-2 470 Nitro. Gun is in 99% condition, with approximately 30 shots fired. It apprears to have shoe lump barrels in the pictures.
Do any of you have any experience with these 2003 vintage guns? Are they as good, or better than the newer ones?
I'm paying $6750.00 for it, so I think I got a decent deal.
