welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new 470, i too would practice with full loads since that is what you will be using on big floppy ears, on loads, do a search for 470 under reloading and you will find a number of different load. i used 45gr of xmp 5744 for deer, gave me 1420fts. out of 24inch bl. but again learn your rifle, practice,practice and then more practice.
