Johan, used his new W.R. last year that he traded to Simon Clod for a Elephant hunt. If I owned that rifle I'd use it to, but not because I think it's any better in function to mine. I'm like the rest of you, a name goes along way. As to me offing any upgrades to the interceptor sear system, there isn't one. And to imply that there is a doubling problem with my older rifles, well there isn't anymore of a problem than with Merkel, Champius, or Krieghoff. The retrofit to the Linder system requires all the internals of the action be removed and replaced, this is $3000.00 in labor, and because of my work load it would take about a year for delivery. Most everyone here knows what causes doubling. I suggest using the back trigger first, rifles are not shotguns that have chokes that dictate which trigger to use first. There is no rule that is justified that says you must use the front trigger first. |
