I know that a lot has been posted about the negatives associated with the .458 win in a double rifle. Much has to do with the fact that it is a rimless cartridge and that it operates at a somewhat higher pressure than some of the larger, rimmed .45 cal express cartridges. I hear not nearly as much about the .375 in double rifles. I assume that the same negatives exist for both cartridges. Am I correct? In my quest for a 9.3 SxS, the number of nice .375s that I come across has me thinking possibly otherwise... Thanks again for all! Greg |
