jblok, as I'm sure Tom told you that rifle was to be traded to the PH for a tuskless elephant hunt. What he didn't tell you I'm sure was he had a problem with the rifle two years prior to the hunt. He made me aware of this and I told him to send it back for repair. He never did, but instead chose to try and trade it for a hunt.
Know let me stop all this doubling bullshit. All new rifles in the Deluxe models which include all 577's and above have a Linder style intercepting sear mechanism. It can not fire unless you pull the trigger. Period!
