Clark7781 - Get a copy of "Shooting the British Double Rifle" by Graeme Wright (everything you wanted to know about double rifles but were afraid to ask) . If your rifle is new and will not shoot the advertisedgroup give it back to the dealer and let him "shoot it out" with the manufacturer. If it is used and has seen a lot of use it is not unusual for the right barrel to shoot high due to wear. If this is the case the only way to correct the problem is to develope two different loads (one for each barrel) which is not practical from a logistics stand point (especially if you are dealing with dangerous game) or, sent the rifle to some one to have the rifle re bored and/or re regulated. If its not too bad you may elect to live with it |
