Does anybody have a Merkel Double with an optical sight?

I notice the removable section of the rib just above the chambers, which makes me think a sight could be added there with few problems.

I'm thinking of a reflex sight, possibly requiring a short section of weaver rail in place of this removable section.

Thoughts, or better, experience?
