I'm more of a vintage double guy but have been interested in getting a modern double shooter, preferably in a easy-to-find and mild calibre. I saw someone locally selling a .308 double rifle and I went ahead and got the thing.

It's a Verona LX1001 O/U .308 with 20 gauge barrel set as well. I understand that it was made by F.A.I.R. in Italy.

I did go out on a limb here since this is not a maker that I know. I'm hoping to hear from anyone who knows more about them. I'm really hoping mine left the factory properly regulated and isn't just an ornate boat anchor/20 ga combo.
