I have a "high grade" James Woodward, .450 3 1/4" BPE, double rifle, with the Jones under-lever and back action rebounding hammers. It has very fancy Damascus barrels, with gold inlays for the address. I would say the rifle was made in the early 1880's. It is in exellent condition inside and out. As I've never seen an early Woodward BPE double rifle for sale before, what would I expect the value to be? |
