At the Vic. big game shoot recently one of the competitors had a Fabarm Asper U/O DR in 9.3x74 and I found the same thing.

I had a couple of shots with it afterwards and it was a dream to shoot:
1. I found the sights instantly;
2. The fore-end was of good size and easy to hold (like most O/U I suppose);
3. The recoil was straight back (okay in this cartridge) and finding the sights for the second shot was very quick.

U/O double rifles are a bit under rated here in Australia even though they are far more affordable than a S/S DR and comparable to a lot of the better bolt action rifles. The quality is normally very good and they come with ejectors. I personally love them.
