Much underrated IMHO.

I had a .45-70 ex-Remington for a while, had great potential for laying proper ribs and regulating it for a hard-hitting big game load. Unfortunately I needed funds for an urgent purchase (nitro Paradox) and since I hadn't started on the Baikal yet at that stage it was one of the "culls".
I do have some regrets as I think it would have been a marvelous knock-about boar rifle.
