I bought one mainly so I could learn about doubles, tinker with it and have a backup double for rainy days, rough country and as a loaner so I didn't need to have a stainless synthetic cookie cutter rifle for those tasks.

I wound up with one in 30-06, rather than 45-70. No big deal really, its a pig gun really.
