Yes, the steel part that moves also has the locking lugs on it (at the front but not shown in the pictures). You can see the mark on the timber piece where the metal part moves to and it extends beyond where the oil ridge/build-up is shown. I'll try and get a video of it but am pushed at the moment to find the time to do so.
