I agree.
My 470 for example has fired over 200 shots since I've had it.
Doesn't sound like much.
But then only 10 of those shots were not at animals.
I shot 6 checking regulation and sighting and another 4 over the chrony.
Regulation was perfect, sighting was easily sorted and the velocity was good.
So then I took it hunting!
I have other doubles as well as the 470 and some of these have shot many hundreds of hunting rounds and they rarely see paper targets of any kind.

Incidently, the fellas I referred to in the top end do have a lot of fun at their shoots but I should add that a couple of these guys have shot more NT buff with quality rifles than anyone on this planet!
These guys were into SERIOUS double rifle useage long before the current rebirth of DR interest.
