Gents, I'd like to invite anyone who finds themselves (or can arrange to) in Anchorage on the 31st of May to come to our first double rifle shoot of the year at the Birchwood range just north of Anchorage from 10-3.

This is a strictly informal gathering, the grill will be going and I'm sure the lies and tall tales flowing. I'll have an 8 and 10 double, 4 single, 577 howdah and several smaller doubles. Cal Pappas will do the cooking (eat at own risk!!!) and bring his 600, 500, 4 and 8 DRs and I'm sure a host of others. Last year the turn out was 40-50 gentleman and a few ladies and several dozen excellent doubles, along with plentiful ammo to try each other's guns. If you've got a double or an interest in them then come on out as it's a great chance to handle and try an exceptional variety of guns and meet some interesting characters to boot.

If you can't make it we plan to have additional informal shoots at the end of June and July, but those are still in the planning stages. See you there!
