I have loaded the old style Hornady #4507 solids, with steel jackets, covered with a copper alloy, since day one, in my .450 #2 NE. Never a problem and never a worry. And they shoot right through a cape buffalo like he wasn't even there. As an aside guys, the word is gilding, no "u", as in "Don't gild the lily". I know, I'll probably be lambasted for correcting this but I've got broad shoulders and errors like that tend to be self-perpetuating on the internet. |
