Just wondered if the members of this forum had any experience or views about a Belgian double rifle made by F. DEFOURNEY? There is one for sale here in Britain in 'new' condition, chambered for the 7 x 65R cartridge, which is OK for me for my purposes. It is quite well engraved going by the photos, but I have not seen it in the flesh as it is many miles away.

I have found reference to A. Defourney, in business during the inter-war period. Price is Ł5250, or about $8500 in US currency. (Sorry Aussies, but I can't remember your exchange rate at present as it seems to go up and down...)
