That may be a very valid comment.. I've never had cause to deal with a warrantee issue. I purchase in Canada through a company that imports and distributes to the various police forces. There is slim to no civilian sales presence here that I've experienced. I pay my money and I takes my chances. The good news is that the stuff is soooo resilient/durable, warrantee has never been an issue. The biggest challenge is the retail purchase.
