IMHO and the opinion of most Aussies, the Cal-Rigbys were such a departure in style and quality that they will never be mistaken for true Brit-built Rigbys and therefore had nothing but a positive influence on Brit Rigby desirability: ie the fear that no more British Rigbys would ever be built again, simply pushed up the value of existing original guns here in Oz. The fact that they are once again "available" may be the reason for any slightly negative influence on the selling price of vintage Rigbys, especially the higher-grade examples.
