The targets simply got mixed up I am sure, and the retailer went to some trouble to locate the rifles that matched the targets, results of which I do not know. The rifle was returned today, no troubles, and the distributor said it will go back to the main store with the difficulties noted."

I suspect that this is the case with all, or most, of the so-called problems of this nature.
