Rigbymauser....WHY is that a stunt?
The guy bought it, he has owned it for a year and now he is selling it, thats just business.
It sounds like a case of could have, would have , but didn't on your part.
Consider...
He has a years interest to recoup on his investment
He has paid for the advertisement
Phone bill
He has to pack it and ship it
He will probably have to entertain lower offers
He will probably have to offer a guarantee (consumer protection laws)
Sounds like you were a day late and a dollar short!
I say good luck to the guy.
I know...The ol愀ayin`..If I find a 100$ bill on the street I will not sell it for less...However here has the seller found a 10$ bill and added an x-tra zero and sell it as a 100$ bill.
BTW. The it愀 a gun that is worn(used a lot). The dollshead ext. shows that(very rounded edges).
Regarding consumers law: I don愒 know if privates in America are subjected and obligated to follow consumers law when selling an antique..Do you know?.(you must know as it appear by your statement!). Just about all gundealers in America who sell on antique firearm(pre 1898) sell it as a Curio or ANTIQUE, to free themselves from legal procecution if the gun was fired and something went wrong or ofcouse it can be owned by anyone because it is an antique.
