I've messed around for several years with a scoped 9.3, and I've borrowed a few double rifles for driven game hunts with red dot or similar sights. Realistically for what you are talking baout I'd go with a scope regulated 375, get one of illuminated reticle scopes and do all what you want to do with one scope. For close range fast shooting the illuminated reticle scopes work as well as the traditional red dots. Then you have the flexibility of having magnification for longer range. I used a double rifle drilling with one of the illuminated Swarowski Z6s on a driven hunt and it was excellent. Just a compromise thought. |
