I just bought a Midland DB in .475 3 1/4 Straight with an exstra barrel in .280 NE flanged..

I must be a set since it has identical markings and number.

I would Place it around WW1 but certain knowledge would be nice..

Do any of you know if the ledgers still excists..?

Do any of you have experience in loading the .280 flanged, the rifle came with die-sets in both calibers.
