I hope you can help me out here?

I'd very much like to know the factory stock dimensions from Merkel, V-C, Krieghoff and Heym heavy doubles (.400-.500)

The Merkel .470 I sold a couple of years ago had a stock that was a bit low for me. It belted me sort of twice, first the shoulder then the chin..

Looking into buying a New secondhand one now - and would very much like to know the stock dimensions on the various brands. I don't think I will be able to handle them all, so will need to look at the stock dimensions and rely on others experiences.

I might order a new V-C with a stock made for me, however, there are a couple of interesting secondhand buys available in europe right now.

A Krieghoff .470, a Karl Hauptmann sidelock .475 no2, a Heym 88B .470.
I'd rather have one of the last two.
