Invited my PH from SA over on a monteria here in Spain on Friday ( see http://www.whitelionsafaris.com/ ) , no conection, he is just a good mate with whom Iīve done 4 safaris, but he had never been to Spain before. As it was short notice he had a long trip, 32 hours, Blomfontein, Joburg, Dubai, Madrid, Sevilla. I picked him up, night in Sevilla then off to the finca. I thought we might have bagged a bad peg as we saw nothing for an hour. I had already decided to let him shoot after that trip then it all kicked off ! He shot 6 boar, one a medal, a fallow, a medal too, donīt know if bronze or silver yet and a 10 point red stag, all in about 1 1/2 hours !! We had a blast, all with 10 cartridges on running animals, mind you, I suppose you expect your PHs to know how to shoot ! I will post some pics when I get them. He was using my .375 double and I am starting to think that if you want to hunt the planet with one rifle, a double .375 with a QD scope might be the best choice ? best, Mike
