I would love to try out my Trijicon RMR sights but it seems impossible to get bases for them here in Australia.

1. I contacted the agent, never got a reply.

2. I tried to buy from Trijicon in the USA. They won't ship overseas.

3. Someone agreed to accept it for me and get the bases to me. Trijicon won't accept non USA credit cards.

4. I contacted a Trijicon employee who works for them as a rep for Aust/Asia and half the world, he was going to see what he could do. Several months later ... and several emails without replies ... He is a member here on NE btw.

Around about a year since I bought the RMRs and still can't put them on a double rifle. Trijicon actually approached me in the beginning to try the RMRs out. BTW I had to pay full price for them ...

I'll give it a month or so more to see if Trijicon actually wants to sell stuff or not.

One more option to get the bases, perhaps, if they even exist. They are on the website so hopefully they do exist.

Edited to add: The base I need is for a 11-12 mm dovetail - - RM57: RMR Mount for Custom Rifles w/ 11-12mm Ribs
