Ah, but what would be interesting is the .500/.416 necked down to .375.

That would clean up the original belted chambering and would make for some pretty interesting velocities (over the 375 flanged) at attractive pressures.

Anyone interested? We'd only need one reamer! Bet JJ would take it on.
