I voted for the Chapuis. I've handled all the rifles in question and the Chapuis seems the one closest in form, fit & function to the classis English DR. I'll also echo the inclusion of the Verney-Carron. Full disclosure, I own and love mine, but before purchase, I handled all the rifles in question including the Heym and I liked VC's best. jorge
