Just got back from the range with the 45/70 I was using RP 405 grain factory loads right on center left on center just over the right but tuching. I didn't shot more then 50 yards but I think that I could keep then in a 4 to 6 inch circle with out to much trouble out to 100 yards. I got the PAST recoile shield and that took care of the rifle hurting when shooting. I had mabe 10 or 12 rounds in a 4 inch circle at the 50 yard mark and that is the range that they say to site it in for. Now I will have to start loading my own and see if I can find somethig that will work as well very happy with the way its shooting now.
