Well I finly picked up my 45/70 tonight after work. A much better rifle then I was thinking it was going to be with all the posts that I have read here and else were. Wood is not half bad and I was expecting that the triggers would be very bad and was suprised that they wern't a little long but not hard or heavy al all. It is very lite though and I doin't think that I would like to load it to hot now that I see it and have it in my hands looks more like a 410 shotgun then a rifle. I will have to get some ammo together and take it to the range soon can't this weekend as its opening weekend for the yacht club that I belong to hope next weekend will be free. will let ya know how it goes when I get it out and shoot it till then have fun.
