The movie "Out of Africa" alludes to it but 'sanitises' it, as Finch-Hatton's need to get away 'by myself'. I have seen several references t affairs in books from the time but need to remember where.
There are references to Karen Blixen having other affairs too.

Gossipping on a wet Sunday afternoon.
But took the Greener for a shoot this afternoon. Hay crop raiding Galahs (legal to shoot in SA as crop protection). Maybe 25 to 30 so far but giving up for the day.
