Actually I have a Holland in .465 and a Wilkes in .470. the Holland has ejectors and the Wilkes extractors. The Holland is stiffer to open but it is just marginally so. I think a quality rifle with ejectors is not much stiffer than an extractor rifle.
Yeah, but what about when closing the Holland after both ejectors have fired as that is when most doubles recock the ejector springs?
