If you tried to shoot an Aussie Buffalo standing in the shadows of a paperbark swamp using open sights and he (the target) was blurred, you would most likely not even be able to see him, let alone place your bullet into his vitals!

When I use open sights I find the target and the foresight are focused and the rearsight is blurred.
