There are many options for you in the price range you have set. Look around and talk to people. My personal preference would be to not have a rifle with shotgun barrels but just buy a rifle and then a shotgun separately.

What you get when you try to combine both is a bastard that is neither.

The 9.3 is a good choice for NA but if I was thinking of Moose, and big Bears that live on the same block, and plains game I might lean toward a 400.

You will get the right one if you look at the pros and cons and wait for the one that you know is the right one. (like a wife only you can lock a rifle in the closet)
