Yes, it is the "progress" of the system from Valmet {Finland} to production in Italy. They are no longer made in Finland.

What I'm really after is observations of funtion, reliability, sturdiness, etc, from anyone {anyone??} who has actually used these guns. I've read about them but cannot find anybody who has actually used them or has experience with them. They look identical to the old Valmet 412 series guns as the design is virtually identical.

But, as we all know...looks may deceive...
