^ Allison had a shortened Manton with (IIRC) 23" tubes that Pedersen had apparently worked on. As you know Mantons were solely retailers and L&L principally so (in India)and most of those around here came from Indjah. It may be one that Wally and Saunders brought in. Apparently some were "strained" a touch by the then common use of 3031 in an attempt to replicate original loads on a grain for grain cordite equivalent. In all matters "caveat emptor". |
