A near "closed shop" here as it were but you have lots of research to do before buying. BTW there are at least three Oz based specialists on this forum. 500Nitro? has some entree into overseas buying, advice and importation.

Ask around, let people know what you are after (Make, calibre, Sidelock / boxlock and price range.). What I do is if say I hear about something I pass your tel number onto the owner and then it's up to you if and when they call.
To be honest, I'd look at what is available in the US and the UK as well (and maybe NZ). No point limiting yourself to Australia.
