How hard is it to get a good used English double rifle in Australia these days. I would imagine that if money is no object then you can get what you want.

Assuming you want to pay market value then how do you go about it. Are there any particular gunshops or auction houses that you should try or do you need contacts. Also, how hard is it to import from overseas given that an inspection is a lot more difficult. If you do not have a lot of experience then you would also need help with the evaluation. Who can you trust to do this.

Lots of questions I know but unless you can pony up for a new one then used has to be the only other option.
